Congrats to WESTWOOD! They will be representing Manitoba at the National tournament of the Canadian Improv Games. The Finals this year at MBCI was among the best ever, the teams all raised the "improv bar" up another notch, which means that next year all the teams have their work cut out for them. Another season of the MIL gets underway here in the land of 204. This year we have moved to a leaner, meaner improv machiner with 6 teams battling (with love) for the coveted top spot. The top spot of course gives bragging rights and a place at the Nationals. The MIL is a member of the Canadian Improv Games, which just happens to be the largest and most geographically dispersed theare festival in Canada. It was formed in 1978 with the help of non other that David Sheppard (one of the founding fathers of modern improv).
